Week 11: Wednesday 11/3

204/ 1PM
All sections will meet in 204 at 1PM. Please bring your Visual Journals and media of your choice. We will be sketching and I will be introducing the new assignment, Translation: Le Corbusier's Watercolor Studies of Italy.
Two handouts accompany this assignment and can be found under Course Documents on myTulane.Blackboard. They are “Le Corbusier - The Creative Search” parts 1 and 2. Download these, read on your computer paying close attention to the paintings reproduced in color. You will be asked to choose two of these to print and translate in watercolor.
Due: Color Chart with Three Columns in Watercolor
Using either chipboard or Kraft Paper (cut neatly 24” x 18” and fold in half), please make a folder in which to organize your final painting along with all of your research, which should include color mixing tests, design sketches, and early iterations. Make sure your name is on everything.
Sections Harmon, Stouse, and Zarse hand-in your assignment in 204 at the beginning of class.
