Using the "Lines" handout as a reference, create an inventory of different kinds of lines. Copy/mimic the line quality in the drawings by Tanaka and Hawkinson.
Fill a page or two with your line research. Create dynamic lines. Like Chip Sullivan says on page four, "Now Exaggerate! No no no! Add emphasis no puny lines."
Translate your collage into a line drawing. Avoid shading and outlines. We will hang the collage and the drawing side-by-side, so we should be able to see your systems in the drawing.
